2. Service Description
Meteor Store showcases and sells digital products we develop ourselves, including macOS desktop applications, command-line tools, web applications, and related developer utilities. Some products are released as free open source software; others require a paid licence, as indicated on each product page.
3. Account Registration
To register you must provide a valid email address, complete email verification, and tick the box accepting these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the End User License Agreement. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you discover unauthorised use.
4. Payment and Pricing
- All prices are shown in Chinese Yuan (CNY) unless otherwise stated
- We do not currently offer automatic renewal. If subscriptions are introduced, billing periods, renewal, and cancellation rules will be shown before purchase
- One-time purchases remain valid permanently
- We reserve the right to adjust prices without affecting completed orders
- A VAT electronic general invoice can be issued after purchase — email us your order number and billing details
5. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility, the application process, processing times, and non-refundable cases are set out on the separate Refund Policy page, which forms an integral part of these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property in the products and related content belongs to the operator or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Law and the Regulations on Computer Software Protection of the PRC. A purchase grants a licence to use, not a transfer of ownership. Open source components remain subject to their own licences; the full scope of the grant and its restrictions are set out in the End User License Agreement.
7. Acceptable Use
When using this service you agree not to:
- Use the products or services for any activity that violates the laws and regulations of the PRC
- Crack, decompile, or reverse engineer the products, or circumvent technical protection measures
- Copy, distribute, resell, or rent the products or licence keys without authorisation
- Attack or disrupt our servers and network, or scrape data by malicious automated means
- Post user content that is unlawful, infringing, false, or contains malicious code
8. Disclaimer
Products are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the products. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
If you breach these terms we may suspend or terminate your access. You may also contact us at any time to close your account. How data is handled after closure is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or a site notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of these terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan). Any dispute shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the competent People’s Court at the operator’s place of business.
