End User License Agreement
Last Updated:August 2026
This End User License Agreement (hereinafter referred to as 'this Agreement') is the agreement between you and Meteor Store (hereinafter referred to as 'we') regarding the purchase, download, installation, or use of any digital products we provide (including but not limited to software tools, design resources, source code, documentation, hereinafter referred to as 'Products'). Please read this agreement in full before using the products. By placing an order, paying, downloading, installing, or using the products, you are deemed to have fully understood and accepted all terms of this agreement; if you do not agree, please do not purchase or use.
1. License Scope
- After purchasing a product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it.
- Personal Edition / Personal License: For your personal use only, can be installed on multiple devices under your name.
- Team Edition: Members within the authorized scope may use it, up to the authorized number of users, cannot be exceeded.
- One-time purchased products are valid indefinitely, including free minor updates we decide to provide; major version updates may be charged separately.
- Products explicitly licensed under open source licenses (such as MIT / Apache-2.0) continue to be licensed under the corresponding license for their open source parts; this agreement does not cover open source parts.
2. License Restrictions
Without our written consent, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or otherwise make the product available to third parties (except for internal sharing within team licenses);
- Publicly disclose activation codes, invitation codes, or authorization credentials in any form (including uploading to code hosting platforms, cloud storage, forums, etc.);
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble the product, or bypass technical protection measures;
- Remove, obscure, or tamper with copyright, trademark, or other rights declarations in the product;
- Use the product for illegal activities or create infringing or harmful content.
Actions permitted by open source licenses are not affected by the above restrictions.
3. Intellectual Property
Except as otherwise agreed for open source parts, all intellectual property rights in products and their related content (including but not limited to source code, interface design, documentation, names, logos) belong to us or the respective rights holders. Purchasing a product grants you only the license to use it as specified in this agreement and does not result in the transfer of intellectual property.
4. Activation Codes and Invitation Codes
- Each activation code is bound to the corresponding order or invitation redemption record and is your credential for using the product. Please keep it safe.
- Do not publicly share activation codes. We have the right to deactivate activation codes distributed through public channels.
- Losses caused by your improper custody of activation codes are your responsibility; please contact us immediately to attempt remediation.
5. Product 'As Is' Provision and Disclaimer
Products are provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We make no express or implied warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use products.
6. Termination
If you violate this agreement, we have the right to suspend or terminate your license at any time, and the related activation code will become invalid. After termination, you must stop using the product and delete all copies (except for open source parts).
7. Agreement Changes
We may update this agreement from time to time. Material changes will be notified via website announcement or email. Continued use of the product constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement; if you do not agree, you should stop using and follow the refund policy.
8. User-Generated Content (UGC) Terms
This section applies to all content you publish or submit to this site, including but not limited to blog submissions, comments, topic proposals, and feedback messages (collectively, "User Content"). Submitting User Content means you have read and accepted all terms in this section.
8.1 Content License
You retain all copyright in your User Content. However, to enable us to display, operate, and promote this site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only for operational needs such as CDN caching and search engine indexing) license to store, display, copy, distribute, and adapt (only for formatting/layout, without altering original meaning) the User Content on this site and related services. This license terminates when you delete the User Content or delete your account, but reasonably propagated copies (e.g., already quoted, cached by search engines) are not affected.
8.2 Content Responsibility
- You warrant that you are the lawful rights holder of the User Content, or have obtained lawful authorization, and that submission does not infringe any third party's copyright, portrait right, privacy, reputation, trademark, trade secret, or other lawful rights;
- User Content must not contain illegal, obscene, pornographic, violent, terrorist, hate-inciting, discriminatory, defamatory, harassing content, or content that induces self-harm/suicide or harms minors;
- User Content must not contain spam, unsolicited commercial promotion, phishing links, malware, viruses, or other content that may compromise the security of this site or third-party systems;
- User Content must not contain others' real identity information (name, ID number, phone, address, etc.), nor leak your own sensitive personal information (such as ID number, bank card number). We recommend using a nickname instead of your real name;
- You are solely responsible for the legality, authenticity, and accuracy of User Content. Any disputes, claims, or losses arising from User Content are your responsibility and not ours; if we suffer losses as a result, you shall compensate us.
8.3 Moderation and Takedown
We have no obligation but reserve the right to moderate User Content, and may take down, hide, delete User Content, or restrict your publishing rights at any time without notice. The specific moderation and handling rules are as follows:
- Blog submissions use a "review-before-publish" mechanism. Submissions that do not pass review will not be publicly displayed; published submissions may be taken down if reported or later found to violate the rules;
- Comments use a "publish-then-review" mechanism. Violating comments may be hidden or deleted;
- Any logged-in user may report comments or reader submissions. Reports enter the admin moderation queue; admins will handle them according to this section.
Malicious reporting (including but not limited to fabricating facts, mass reporting, suppressing dissenting views) may affect your own account standing; serious cases may result in restrictions on using the report feature.
